LIFE CYCLE OF A NONFICTION BOOK IDEA

It occurred to me one day that an idea for a book project seemed to have a life cycle of its own, much as a product has a product life cycle.  The more I thought about it, the more I realized that most of my ideas followed the same series of ups and downs, with only my reaction to the idea differing.  So I wrote this special report, thinking other writers might wonder if they’re crazy (as I did) or if they had the same reactions to an idea.  And then, maybe I’m too analytical for my own good.  I hope this report helps the reader feel more comfortable with the life cycle steps, both ups and downs.  (c) 2010 by Katherine Ploeger.   This is a 22 page, full sized report.
