WRITE THAT NONFICTION BOOK: THE WHOLE PROCESS

This course-in-a-book offers the nonfiction writer a powerful, complete process in a series of lessons, with action steps and exercises, to write a nonfiction book.  The process works for any length of book (from 10 pages to 1000) and any topic. Detailed step-by-step instructions enable the nonfiction writer to practice the tested process and techniques described.

The process starts with that first flash of an idea (or the realization that you HAVE to write the book), continues through the many prewriting activities, then drafting, revision, editing, and ends with the finishing tasks for the manuscript.

While learning the process, you can also be practicing on your own book project, using a series of steps called BookNotes.  Each BookNote is one step in the process. By the end of the course, you can have a finished manuscript, ready for a traditional publisher or to self-publish.  And you can also increase your confidence as a nonfiction book writer, all from one book and your own efforts.

WORKBOOKS

.

These reasonably priced workbooks use chapters from Write That Nonfiction Book: The Whole Process as their starting points.  They offer the nonfiction writer more detailed instructions, examples, and exercises about specific aspects of the writing process.

I have created these workbooks because I had to take out so much from the original book; otherwise, the book would have been way too long.  Anyway, some readers don’t want all that detail.  So I’m offering the workbooks as a supplement to the original book.
